American President Donald Trump has made the announcement that he will announce the "most dishonest and corrupt" media awards next Monday. This would be one of its kind media award by the U.S. president.

"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o'clock", Trump tweeted.

Tapper cut off the interview with Miller, accusing the White House adviser of being "obsequious". Trump has been quite open and offensive about leading American media outlets including names like CNN, ABC News, The New York Times and the Washington Post.

Or that the recipients-except in cases where they've had to retract admittedly false stories-will wear an award as a badge of honor?

He announced initially announced the awards last Tuesday in a Tweet.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 hours, local time, and the police immediately closed the station. A 45-year-old woman was also hospitalized, but her condition is unknown.

Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel and Trevor Noah all took time out their shows on Wednesday to mull over their chances of receiving one of the awards - or as Colbert referred to them, "the Fakies". These include "Outstanding Achievement In Parroting George Soros' Talking Points" and "Least Breitbarty". "Because nothing gives you more credibility than Donald Trump calling you a liar".

There has never been good relations between Donald Trump and the mainstream American Media.

I don't think this wins the president a single vote or advances his agenda a single inch.

Trump latest tweet comes amid a firestorm over an explosive new book about the Trump presidency, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House". "Sunday is the Golden Globes - I'm not nominated, don't watch - but on Monday there's an awards show everyone's going to be glued to".

Trump, however, termed it as "fake book", reported local media.
