As he was introduced as the new head coach of the Oakland Raiders on Tuesday, Gruden admitted he never thought he'd back on the sidelines in the Bay Area.

"Obviously this is very emotional for me".

"I never wanted to leave the Raiders". Not only did Raiders fans have the joy of seeing Gruden back in silver and black, but they found out each of the three new coordinators appointed by the now former ESPN analyst. "I haven't won a game since 2008, but I haven't lost one either". "But here I am, I'm ready to get to work".

"I have a lot to prove", Gruden acquiesced. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before the 2002 National Football League season and would go on to beat the Raiders in the Super Bowl in his first season in Tampa. He has a 95-81 career record.

The energetic coach will now be tasked with turning around a mercurial Raiders team, led by quarterback Derek Carr, that fell to a disappointing 6-10 in 2017 after a 12-4 playoff trip in 2016.

Does that mean it's rolling out to more websites? Basically, the same way you pay for things now will continue, except it'll all be called Google Pay.

Gruden declined to get into specifics of his monstrous contract - playing coy - and joked (maybe?) that he has a no-trade clause in his deal this time.

"Great coach, great motivator, great leader, great teacher in terms of just understanding the big picture", McVay said. No. 1, I love football.

"How long I stay here will be determined by how well we play". "It took me six years of chasing Jon". Gruden initially coached the Raiders from 1998-2001.

"Brady fumbled that ball", Gruden said, before turning serious. No guarantees, no promises. What press conference ever begins with a hype video?

"I love the excitement and the thrill of competing". "This is what I want to do, this is the organization that I want to be a part of and I'm all in".
