He answered a question about this week's reports that Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team had informed Trump's lawyers of their interest in interviewing Trump. Would you be willing to meet with him without condition?

Trump has repeatedly attacked the probe, and has falsely asserted that it has been proven that there was no collusion between Team Trump and Vladimir Putin's Russian Federation, including in a tweet on Wednesday.

A January 2017 assessment by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) stated that Russian leadership preferred presidential candidate Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton and that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally ordered an "influence campaign" to harm Clinton's electoral chances and "undermine public faith in the U.S. democratic process". And there is no collusion.

Calling that session "ridiculous", Trump noted that Clinton "wasn't sworn in, she wasn't given the oath, they didn't take notes, they didn't record, and it was done on the Fourth of July weekend. and a lot of people looked upon that as being a very serious breach, and it really was".

"There was absolutely no collusion". For 11 months, we have had this phoney cloud over this administration.

"It has hurt our government", he said.

John Dickerson Named New 'CBS This Morning' Co-Host
But with " CBS This Morning ", the network is in a better competitive position against " Today " and "GMA" than ever before. He had been political director for CBS News since 2011, and an on-air political analyst for CBS News since 2009.

He called the allegations of collusion with Russian Federation and any possible wrongdoing by his campaign "a Democrat hoax" and a "phony cloud" to deflect from Hillary Clinton losing the Electoral College and thus the White House.

"So it was brought up for that reason".

"It has been determined that there is no collusion by virtually everybody".

"I mean, certainly, I'll see what happens", he said.

"When they have no collusion, and nobody has found any collusion at any level, it seems unlikely you'd even have an interview", Trump pointed out.

Trump also said Wednesday he would never sign an immigration bill unless it includes money for his proposed wall along the U.S. Mexico border.

"There was no collusion, everybody including the Dems knows there was no collusion, & yet on and on it goes", he tweeted.
