Freezing rain possible for Timmins and area

Temperatures were expected to eventually rise above zero changing the precipitation to occasional drizzle.

The national weather agency is urging drivers to be cautious on the roads and has issued a special weather statement for several parts of Southwestern Ontario including Norfolk, Haldimand and Brant counties.

While mild and rainy conditions are expected over much of southern Ontario Thursday and into Friday, colder weather is on the way.

A general rainfall of 10 to 20 millimetres appears likely, although some areas may see higher amounts.
