Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo has been suspended two games by the National Basketball Association for an altercation on Tuesday in which he attempted to punch Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Afflalo was not having it swung, hitting Bjelica on the forehead. It was a pretty minor collision, but Afflalo took exception and pushed off on Bjelica.

As a result, both players were ejected.

"It's an unfortunate incident, just competitive nature, an isolated incident", said Afflalo. They stayed composed. Through all of that, they put up a great fight. "I just want to say I think I did the right thing".

It appears as though any tension between the two players did not carry over to their teams.

"It was nothing personal". "I don't know him. I'll try to handle it a little bit better next time". Afflalo did not score, but had one rebound in four minutes. The Timberwolves forward said he was so surprised by the punch that he retaliated by putting Afflalo in a headlock in order to stop the fight from continuing.
