Ibrahimovic, whose contract expires this summer, is now injured and is expected to return next month but has been linked with a move to Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy.

Earlier it was reported that the former Sweden global and captain will receive an annual salary of $7.7 million at LA Galaxy and become the highest-paid player in the MLS.

The 36-year-old has played just seven times this season due to the injury he sustained in the 2016/17 campaign.

According to L'Equipe, Ibrahimovic has already signed a contract with the California club.

Ibrahimovic turned in many memorable displays, with his two goals in the EFL Cup final win against Southampton particularly impressive. The MLS club expressed interest a year ago before Ibrahimovic went down with a knee injury in April.

"I'm relaxed. He's in good shape and he has three or four months of time to decide what to do", Raiola told Italy's Mediaset, before replying to a more specific question about whether he could move to MLS by saying: "If he wants to". If there was something there, I'm sure we'd all know. The last thing Zlatan told me was he wants to recover totally and help the team.

"He's working hard to be fit".

Mourinho also gave an update on midfielder Marouane Fellaini, who is free to talk to other clubs as his contract ticks down.

"He's one of the best players, one of the best people, and if he comes to this league at some point it would be great", Beckham said.

"I know he wants to stay with us, he knows I want him and the club wants him but then there is a paper to sign and you only sign the paper when you are happy with what is in the paper, so let's see what happens".

The 55-year-old said: "The club wants he same as I want, it's as simple as that".
