The Samsung Galaxy S9 is shaping up to be a fairly small upgrade on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and there's at least one major aspect that may not be upgraded at all - the battery. Also, it contains the names of Samsung's smartphones and tablets that will be treated with Android 8.0 Oreo. Two of them will be unveiled next month. Notably, Samsung's invitation for the launch event has the number "9" on it as well. Folks at xda have revealed the list of smartphones based on the xml files present on the Note 8 beta firmware. The codes also indicate that there will be the Galaxy C10, Galaxy J4, Galaxy J6, and Galaxy Tab S4 among other devices.

The battery capacity may not a bad thing considering the Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9810 are expected to be more power efficient; we may see longer battery life on the same capacity. Samsung Galaxy S9 "Active" rumours hit the web Now that we are sure of the Galaxy S9 smartphones coming out within next four weeks, fresh reports have started pointing out attention towards their "Active" variant. Last year's Galaxy S8 Active also lacked the curved screen. Users will also get cards in their device's dashboard, which Samsung explains will make it easier to access that content. According to the listing, the S9 is supposed to feature 3000mAh battery, while its big screen variant is said to sport 3500mAh battery. The latest information is in line with previous rumours that Samsung Galaxy S9 will feature a single 12MP rear cameras, while the higher-end Galaxy S9+ will have dual rear cameras at the back. So, it looks like these will be the final battery capacities of these upcoming flagships. For instance, the fingerprint scanner will be relocated to below the camera module.
