After winning the Year of the Woman-themed series, Courtney said: "It's slightly ironic".

Courtney's victory was extra sweet since the top prize was between her and Ann Widdecombe, a former Member of Parliament who made headlines for her homophobic remarks in the house.

"I guess coming into the house is validation that it's okay to be different", Act told host Emma Willis.

Praising Andrew for his attitude, she said: "He's just so comfortable with everybody and everything".

Act has been absolutely charming the trousers off viewers since she first entered the Big Brother house in early January, and has always been the fave to win the series.

"I'm a lot nicer than people expect me to be so it's going to help a lot", explains former UFC champ Chuck Liddell.

He said: "Do I have a crush on him?"

This year's series of Celebrity Big Brother has been called "the Year of the Woman" due to its heavy focus on gender to mark the 100th anniversary of women's partial suffrage in the UK. "I'm listening to the dawn chorus and none of you are here for it. Delete your account".

Judge won't punish dad who charged at Nassar
Margraves then rushed at Nassar, and was restrained and arrested by court security officials. Margraves moments earlier had asked the judge for five minutes alone with Nassar .

"It was fine. I definitely enjoyed it more than I thought I would".

Widdecombe, who lives alone, said it was "terrible" living with other people. It was bad, absolutely awful, noise all the time.

Although Mark McGrath doesn't think his reputation necessarily will give him a step up, he does think his days touring with Sugar Ray have perfectly prepared him to spend a few weeks in the ruthless Big Brother house.

"Look, you don't reason yourself to a position over a long number of years and then suddenly in the course of a couple of conversations decide "oh dear I got that wrong". "But I can intimidate people too if I need to".

The grand finale of is fast approaching - and to honour it, Channel 5 have sent the evicted housemates back into the house.

Meanwhile Wayne Sleep picked up just 0.9 per cent of the public vote to finish in fifth place. Shane Lynch came in third, and the final two were Widdecombe and Act.

The series came to an end just over a month after the first contestants entered the compound.

The cast of CBS' first edition of Celebrity Big Brother is quite the motley crew, from some serious Big Brother superfans (Shannon Elizabeth, Ross Mathews, Marisa Jaret Winokur) to complete BB newbies (Brandi Glanville, Chuck Liddell, Metta World Peace) and everything in between.
