New England Patriots fans will be glad to hear that Rob Gronkowski has cleared concussion protocol and will be able to play in Super Bowl LII this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. "I mean, it's a split second to make a decision".

The five-time Pro Bowler confirmed Thursday he cleared the league's concussion protocol, per ESPN.com's Mike Reiss, so he'll be on the field when New England looks to win its sixth Super Bowl.

Rob Gronkowski is still under concussion protocol indefinitely, following his injury in the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Gronkowski dismissed the Church hit as being labeled dirty. It's just part of the game.

Gronkowski (concussion) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports. While Gronkowski appeared at the start of Wednesday's practice in full pads, per Reiss, the tight end hasn't been cleared for more than individual drills at this point. They just did every step by step every day.

"It's good to be out there with the boys", Gronkowski said after Thursday's practice. Gronkowski dominates nearly every game he plays in, and even if he's not lighting up the stat sheet, the attention opposing defenses have to give him opens up the field for his teammates. We knew the whole time I would be good to go. Veteran safety Malcolm Jenkins is likely to be matched up against Gronkowski on most plays.

"I'm just preparing for the Eagles", Gronkowski said.
