The Moto Z2 Force is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. 15 minutes of slapping it on the back of the Z2 can give you about 3 - 4 hrs of power and it's a great way to get some quick juice. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

With dual camera setup at the back, Moto Z2 Force boasts of two 12MP sensors at the rear with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, Laser Autofocus, and dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone sports slimmer bezels that its predecessor, but it still has a physical home button which could double function as the fingerprint scanner. The front shooter is a 5MP one with LED flash.

At the front of the phone, the Moto Z2 Force has a 5.5-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It has a 5.5 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display and runs on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The biggest selling points of the device are the shatter-proof screen and Moto Mods. Motorola calls this technology ShatterShield. While it's hard to crack this plastic display, it will easily get scratches during your regular usage. Last year, the Lenovo-owned company had only released the Moto Z2 Play. While the Moto G6 Play is likely to carry a price tag of Rs. 12,000.

The new Moto G6 series is expected to debut at the upcoming MWC event which kicks off on Feb 26. None of the mods work as stand-alone Bluetooth units so the fear of them becoming redundant if you change the phone in a year is always overbearing and besides the charging TurboPower pack mod that is a ₹ 5999 value, all the others are pricey. Moreover, all Moto Mods launched till date will be compatible with the Z2 Force. The handset is spill proof due to it's the water repellent nano coating makes the handset spill proof.

Motorola has launched the Moto Z2 Force in India.

The only noticeable difference is Flipkart appears to be exclusively selling the modular "shatterproof" 5.5-incher with a bundled TurboPower Moto Mod.
