A week into the PyeongChang Olympics and Team USA now has nine medals and for a moment it looked like Nathan Chen was poised to add to that roster last night in men's figure skating. Just over a month ago, he created a piece of history becoming the first male figure skater to land five quadruple jumps in one performance. Lazarus said the additional ad sales could bring in an additional few million dollars but won't take the total advertising for the winter games to $1 billion for NBC.

"NBC and NEP started our Olympic journey together almost 30 years ago, at the 1988 Seoul Olympics", said Levine. It's the Women's ice hockey match featuring the US against Canada, and both countries have alternated between themselves in getting the gold since 1998, except for that one time in the 2006 Winter Games. The programming block on NBC, beginning at 8 p.m. ET and running for about three hours will include the beginning of the men's solo figure skating, with Nathan Chen front and center in the short program.

-Biathlon: In the men's 20km individual, Lowell Bailey could be a huge contender to give the US hardware in this sport for the first time (12:00 p.m., NBCSN / 1:05 a.m. NBC). It's also listed that the men's skeleton runs three and four will be part of the block. The Bachelor Winter Games did a 0.7 from 8 to 10 p.m., down a tenth of a point from its premiere.
