The GIF stickers have been singled out in a tab inside the app and can be searched.

However, by all accounts, the update isn't going anywhere.

"With the release of the new Snapchat update, many users have found that it has not made the app easier to use, but has in fact made many features more hard", the petition reads. Snapchat partnered with GIPHY to allow you to place a GIF sticker directly on your snap. According to Snapchat, the new Friends and Discover tabs will first be available to iOS users, but they will make it to Android as well in the coming weeks.

The local judge had been asked to consider whether there was enough evidence to bring charges of "theft and vehicle theft". The decision will come as some relief to Alan Pardew as he fights to remain in charge at the Hawthorns.

The petition was signed by more than 1.2 million people, a milestone that perhaps prompted Snap leadership to draft a response.

We hear you, and appreciate that you took the time to let us know how you feel. Meanwhile, the new features are a part of Snapchat's redesign, which users across the board have decried as a confusing update and pleaded for a chance to roll back to a previous version. Snapchat has published a response to this petition, saying that it "understands" that the new update "has felt uncomfortable for many". However, CEO Evan Spiegel announced that the redesign of the social media app would not be rolled back.

"We'd been thinking about the redesign for a really long time because we were frustrated that when you looked at the [app], both sides looked the same", Spiegel said. This same personalisation is also true of the new Discover, which will adapt to you the more that you use it. It essentially enables users to quickly sort friends with Stories, group chats, and Discover subscriptions. That being said, Tabs will still only be added to the new update, and are unlikely to solve all of users' complaints. "This new foundation is just the beginning, and we will always listen closely to find new ways to make the service better for everyone".
