In less expected news, buying the game early lets you dress up Noctis as Gordon Freeman from Half-Life.

While Half-Life fans wait (perhaps futilely) for Valve to announce Half-Life 3, Square Enix is providing fans with the next best thing: a Gordon Freeman costume for Noctis in Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition.

Players who pre-order the game from Origin will receive the bonus "FFXV Decal Selection", containing an array of colorful decals for the Regalia auto celebrating Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis, along with the men and women of the Kingsglaive. As an added bonus, these bonuses also carry over to the multiplayer expansion Comrades.

Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition releases next month on March 6, 2018. The pack includes 10 phoenix downs, 10 elixirs, and a legendary sword called Dodanuki. It will be available in both single player and Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades. Your save data will also work with the Xbox One version of the game, so that's another plus.

As for members of Electronic Arts' Origin service, they'll be treated to a set of vehicle decals if they pre-order in advance of March 6. On February 26, 2018, people will be able to get a trial version from Origin, Steam and the Microsoft Store that allows them to play through the game's first chapter.

In addition, the Windows 10 version of Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition has extra compatibility options.

In addition to the demo period before launch, a few new incentives have just popped up to get that pre-purchase on.
