Anyhow, you're here to hear about the new Special, so here goes: The body is comprised of 67 parts that take nearly 1,000 hours to manufacture, with contrasting Solar Yellow accents on the sill exteriors, rear wing and front active aero blades (chalk up another 250 hours of MSO time right there) and Laurel Green brake calipers to complete the Senna homage by using the legendary Brazilian's helmet colours.

One of five "themes" prepared by McLaren Special Operations for the new Ultimate Series model, the Carbon option is - as you might have guessed - characterized by its carbon-fiber appearance.

The McLaren Senna Carbon Theme will be showcased on McLaren's stand at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show next week.

The McLaren Senna "Carbon Theme" makes its public debut next week at the 88th Geneva International Motor Show, and Mclaren says there will be an additional surprise at its press conference on Tuesday morning.

The colours are carried through to the interior of the auto, with the door gas strut in Laurel Green and the contrast stitching on the Carbon Black Alcantara® trim on seats, door inners and facia.

Asus Introduces the Zenfone 5 Lite Smartphone at MWC 2018
While the Zenfone 5 Lite has a simpler design, the standard and 5Z models take obvious design cues from Apple's flagship handset. ZenFone 5 Lite has a 20MP Sony at the front, 16MP at the rear - and, a secondary 120┬░ wide-angle camera at both front and rear.

The cabin features a similar number of updates like yellow stitching on the seats, steering wheel band and door panels.

MSO is also demonstrating a special set of seven-spoke, center-lock wheels on the Senna show auto that are 10 percent lighter than the standard rims. He won three F1 titles at the wheel of a McLaren, the company's most successful driver. Without a tyre fitted, the hub weighs just 7.5kg, a 10 percent saving on the standard wheel. The reduction in unsprung mass results in a 10-15 percent reduction in rotating inertia, improving acceleration, braking and steering responses. MSO says they will be available to order as a retailer-fit option for all Sennas.

McLaren will bring its hardcore, 789-horsepower Senna road vehicle to the Geneva Motor Show, and all 500 examples are already spoken for. The aggressive looks are the strongest expression yet of McLaren's "form follows function" philosophy and McLaren Special Operations is already seeing significant interest from McLaren Senna buyers wanting to make their cars even more distinctive. McLaren warns: "Cars commissioned from McLaren Special Operations will take considerably longer to build and carry a financial premium".

While a base Senna is priced at 750,000 pounds (about RM4 million), the Carbon Theme applied here adds a "little" under 300,000 pounds (about RM1.6 million) to the price.
