Nokia 8110 has been revamped in 2018, complete with 4G LTE connectivity and support for apps.HMD Global has revived the iconic Nokia 8110, a curved phone that was first launched in 1996 and featured in the movie "The Matrix".

Now that we got that out of the way, Nokia has released a slew of new phones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona, which many deemed as the Finnish brand's efforts to be relevant in this unforgiving realm of tech.

Internally, the phone features 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage, and while some sites claim it uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 205, there seems to be some confusion over the type of CPU in the 8110 4G. It will be a feature phone that runs on Smart Feature OS rather than Android. There is no any expansion option available to expand the memory of the device by using a microSD card. On the camera front, there is a 2-megapixel rear camera.

The Nokia 1 will start selling globally from early April at a price of $85 which roughly translates to Rs 5,550.

It also comes with a more powerful processor in the Snapdragon 630, with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The phone, available in its classic shades of fruity yellow and black, has a cover which slides open and shut.

The sky brightened a bit to a lighter shade of gray as the days of rain took a break over the area Saturday afternoon. In Kentucky, 2.9 inches of rain Saturday capped off one of the wettest weeks, and months, in Louisville history .

HMD says the phone offers around seven hours' talk time and standby time of up to 25 days. While we've been hearing about the Nokia 7 Plus for quite sometime, the MWC announcement reaffirms the information we've seen thus far with a few extra niceties.

The phone itself is 2 mm thick and has a 5.5-inch display. By launching Nokia 8, it enters the market competition of making smartphones displays having no-bezel or minimum bezel space. Nokia also launched the Nokia 3310 4G that was also launched in China last month. In addition, the device will be powered by a 3,600mAh battery that is fast-charging, though non-removable. The Nokia 6 and 7 Plus still have headphone jacks, though the 8 Sirocco casts it away. So those looking for long battery life might be fine with the weight, especially as Nokia touts two-day battery life. It's finished in an attractive two-tone anodised paint job with bands of shiny copper or silver trim surrounding the rear, the front and the camera module.

The smartphones will feature Android's Oreo operating system.
