A purchase of the 8 during the promo period will net buyers a free JBL Bluetooth headset, which Nokia says is worth P3,000. Here's why that is the case - the Nokia 8 Sirocco comes with an attractive 5.5-inch 1440x2560 display with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

It is reported that HMD is preparing for Nokia 8 Pro launch in August 2018 while the Nokia 9 expected to launch later in September. Nokia 9 may feature a slightly larger display as compared to the Nokia 8 Pro.

It remains to be seen as to whether Nokia 9 will take over Samsung galaxy s9 plus, which is tagged as the best smartphone of the year in terms of benchmarks.

HMD announces fresh portfolio of Android smartphones

HMD Global recently launched Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event, though the company did not launch the much in leaks Nokia 9 at the event. The report adds that apart from the Nokia 8 Pro, HMD will also announce the Nokia 9 - the other major flagship smartphone of 2018. Even though the source has not confirmed, there is a possibility that the screen will offer an 18:9 aspect ratio. Coming to the camera front, the smartphone will bear a dual-camera setup at the back panel.

The USP of the phone could be its penta-lens camera setup. The report further suggests that the Nokia 9 will be the company's first phone to get an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As a side note, the rumored Nokia 9 in 2017 turned out to be the Nokia 8 Sirocco. It includes a 12 megapixel and another 13-megapixel sensor. Nevertheless, HMD is still planning to launch the Nokia 9 and the Nokia 8 Pro as later this year, and they are set to be the company's main flagships for 2018. It is expected to have a 5.7-inch display. To power the phone, there may be a battery of 3,250 mAh. However, the handset is expected to arrive with a lower pricing.
