Jaylen Brown suffered a massive injury scare and is still not in the clear after crashing to the floor after a dunk during the Boston Celtics' 117-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.

Brown remained on the floor as a hush fell over the arena after throwing down a dunk with 1:31 left in the third quarter while being fouled. Brown was down for an extended period of time but was able to get up and walk off on his own power. Though he walked off the court, he was evaluated for a possible concussion and subsequently taken to a local hospital.

Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica tallied his first-ever 30-10 game with 30 points and 12 rebounds in the loss to the Celtics.

Brown later tweeted that he was OK, although he confessed he had a headache. "I think that's the difference right now between us being a really good team and being a good team". "We were just happy to see him on his feet and walking off on his own". Celtics teammates prayed nearby as Brown's body seized up and he appeared dazed virtually to the point of unconsciousness.

Russell Westbrook had 27 points, eight rebounds and nine assists as the Thunder crushed the Suns, 115-87.

Paul George added 21 points, Corey Brewer had 17, Steven Adams 16 and Carmelo Anthony 11.

Kyrie Irving returned after missing Monday's game to lead Boston with 23 points, eight assists and two steals. Al Horford chipped in with 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Allen Crabbe scored 29 points as Brooklyn snapped a 10-game road losing streak and beat Charlotte.

Rose signed a contract for the rest of the season - making him eligible for the playoffs - and reunited with Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau, Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson and a coaching staff he knows from five seasons in Chicago. Marcus Morris, Terry Rozier and Marcus Smart all played a big role.
