Numerous games that came with it did well because of the success of the gaming console. Both games will release this spring, with South Park: The Fractured But Whole set to debut on Nintendo's hybrid starting April 24th, while Little Nightmares will be available starting May 18th.

While Autumn is hypothetically possible (if Nintendo basically makes a heavily modified port of Smash 4, this game wouldn't necessarily take long to develop), why would they do that? Unique to Nintendo Switch, Okami HD will offer new functionality for the Celestial Brush, taking advantage of the Nintendo Switch system's touchscreen and motion-control support to create intuitive new ways to solve puzzles and defeat foes.

Nintendo hasn't said exactly when Switch owners will be able to get their hands on Super Smash Bros, beyond confirming its "2018" release. But as is always the question with each new Smash game ... who else will be included? The last outing on Wii U was arguably the best we've seen yet, bringing with it a truly staggering roster of fighters and stages. A release date is yet to be announced, although we expect it to launch alongside the company's upcoming online service.

Though the trailer doesn't tell us much, it does tell us two important things.

However, with the coming months destined to add another entrant to the Super Smash Bros. canon, it's fair to say we should all be very excited.
